Apple M5 8-Core GPU

The Apple M5 8-Core GPU is an integrated graphics card in the Apple M5 SoC, which was developed by Apple. It offers 8 of the 10 cores and support for Core ML, Metal Performance Shader and Metal 4. Also new are the Neural Accelerators in the GPU (Tensor cores).

Due to the 2 deactivated GPU cores, the 8-core GPU is significantly slower than the Apple M5 10-core GPU in more expensive Apple M5 models.
