Apple iPad 11 (2025) review - The affordable tablet lags behind in the most important area
Apple A16 Bionic | Apple A16 GPU 4-Core | 10.86" | 477 g
The 4 Core GPU in the Apple A16 is a graphics card designed by Apple itself in the Apple A16 Bionic SoC and, according to Apple, with four cores and 50% more memory bandwidth than the GPU in the A15 thanks to the switch from LPDDR4X to LPDDR5.
First benchmarks show that the iGPU is slightly behind the older 5-core GPU in the A15 and clearly behind the 5-core GPU in the A16.
As the SoC is the first chip to be manufactured in the new 4nm process at TSMC, the energy efficiency should be excellent.
