Apple A19 4-Core GPU

Apple A19 4-Core GPU

The Apple A19 4-Core GPU is a fast integrated graphics card for smartphones found in the A19 SoC. This iGPU has 4 of the 5 cores and supports ray tracing. The 4 cores offer 64 EUs (Execution Units) = 512 ALUs based on the Apple10 architecture. It is used, for example, in the Apple iPhone 17e.

According to Apple, FP16 performance has doubled compared to its predecessor, and Neural Accelerators (Tensor cores) have been integrated into the GPU cores. This allows the GPU to also help with AI acceleration.

The A19 SoC is manufactured using TSMC's modern N3P process (3nm) and should therefore be very energy-efficient.
