Leak reveals Apple iPhone 17e including refreshed design, price and four major upgrades

According to the latest info from leaker Jon Prosser, the Apple iPhone 17e will be officially unveiled next week, between February 16 and February 20 to be more precise. The leaker has already published numerous images on his YouTube channel fpt that supposedly show the design of the relatively affordable iPhone.
Compared to the iPhone 16e, there are reportedly two major differences. First, the new model could be available in black and white but also in a third color, possibly lavender. Second, Apple is expected to replace the wide notch with a Dynamic Island, which would give the smartphone a more modern look.
Aside from the Dynamic Island, three more fairly significant hardware upgrades are expected as well. First, the iPhone 17e might get an upgrade to the current Apple A19, though in a slightly cut-down version of the chipset that could be paired with just 8GB RAM. Second, the device is expected to support magnetic MagSafe accessories, which should also result in wireless charging support for at least 15 watts instead 7.5 watts on the iPhone 16e.
Third, Apple is reportedly using the same selfie camera as in the iPhone 17, which should sport a square 18MP sensor instead of a small, rectangular 12MP sensor. Meanwhile, the 6.1-inch 60Hz OLED display, the roughly 4,000mAh battery and single 48MP rear camera are expected to remain unchanged. The same applies to pricing. In the US, the base iPhone 17e with 128GB of storage will likely retail for $599.
