Apple M5 Max 40-Core GPU

A fairly fast integrated graphics card developed by Apple and integrated in the full version of the Apple M5 Max SoC. It has 40 "cores" and, depending on the configuration, has access to up to 128 GB of fast 614 GB/s shared memory. The GPU is located on its own die, which is connected to the CPU via "Fusion Architecture".

It offers support for Core ML, Metal Performance Shader and Metal 4. Also new are the neural accelerators in the GPU (tensor cores) for improved AI performance.
