Samsung Xclipse 540

Samsung Xclipse 540

The Samsung Xclipse 540 GPU is a GPU integrated in the Samsung Exynos 1580 SoC integrated graphics card (iGPU). Samsung does not publish any details about the graphics unit, but it is probably based on the AMD RDNA 2 architecture like the older Xclipse 920 and not yet the current RDNA 3 architecture of the Xclipse 940. The GPU integrates 2 WGPs (4 CUs) and is said to be 37% faster with 20% less power consumption (probably compared to the Xclipse 530). In our benchmarks, the Xclipse 540 is even slightly faster (41%) and is on a par with the older Adreno 660 (Snapdragon 868).

The Exynos 1580 and therefore also the Xclipse 540 GPU is manufactured by Samsung using the 4 nm process (Samsung 4LPP).
