Samsung Exynos 1580

The Samsung Exynos 1580 is a mid-range SoC with 8 cores consisting of 3 clusters which was introduced in October 2024. A power-saving cluster with 4x ARM Cortex-A520 with up to 1.95 GHz, a performance cluster with 3x ARM Cortex-A720 with up to 2.6 GHz and a single prime core with up to 2.9 GHz (also Cortex-A720). The SoC also supports UFS 3.1, LPDDR5 RAM, Wi-Fi 6E and an Exynos 5G modem with sub-6 GHz bands.
In our benchmarks, the Exynos 1580 SoC is positioned just behind an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The older Exynos 1480 can be clearly left behind with around 19%.
The integrated GPU is called Xclipse 540 and offers 4 CUs based on the RDNA (probably RDNA 2) architecture.
The Exynos 1580 will probably be manufactured by Samsung using the 4nm process (4LPP) like its predecessor, the Exynos 1480. Samsung only states "third-generation 4nm EUV".
