
Rockchip RK3566

The Rockchip RK3566 is an entry-level ARM SoC (system-on-a-chip) introduced in 2020, which is primarily used in AIot devices and e-ink tablets, for example in Lenovo's Paper Smart. The chip is manufactured in 22nm and integrates four ARM Cortex-A55 cores with up to 2 GHz. As a GPU it integrates a ARM Mali-G52 MP2 (2 cores). Furthermore, a video decoder with H.264 and H.265 support is integrated, among other things.
Besides the CPU and graphics chip, the chip also integrates an LPDDR3/LPDDR4x memory controller, but no cellular modem. Das SoC beinhaltet ein Modem für Wi-Fi 5 (a/b/g/n/ac). Furthermore, an AI unit with 1 TOPS is installed.
