Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus

The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is an Arrow Lake-based desktop processor from Intel and uses a hybrid design with a total of 24 cores, divided into 8 performance cores and 16 efficiency cores. The performance cores achieve high boost clock speeds (up to 5.5 GHz), while the efficiency cores are optimized for parallel workloads and background processes (up to 4.7 GHz).

Compared to slower models, the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus offers significantly higher overall performance and is positioned in the upper desktop segment for gaming and content creation.

The Arrow Lake-S architecture is based on a chiplet design. The CPU portion is manufactured by TSMC using an advanced 3 nm process, while other components, such as the GPU and the SoC and I/O tiles, are produced using different process nodes. The individual components are connected using Intel’s Foveros 3D packaging technology.

The power consumption is designed for a high performance level, allowing the processor to deliver consistently high computing performance even under sustained load. More specifically, Intel specifies the TDP as 125 watts (long-term) to 250 watts (turbo).
