Apple A20 Pro
The A20 Pro is Apple’s powerful new SoC, found in its H2 2026 iPhones and possibly its iPads. Made using an unspecified “2 nm” process, it features two high-performance and four power-efficient CPU cores running at higher clock speeds than the A19 Pro could muster. The built-in NPU and iGPU are also larger and faster.
Performance
Early Geekbench scores look promising, putting its multi-threaded performance at roughly 12,600 points. That’s close to what several hexa-core, laptop-grade AMD Zen 4 and Zen 5-based APUs deliver. The caveat is that laptops feature proper cooling solutions, allowing their processors to sustain peak performance for much longer than a few minutes at a time.
Power efficiency is excellent
The energy efficiency should be excellent as the SoC is most likely manufactured by TSMC using its new N2 process. Apple states that the new iPhones have a significantly longer battery life
