Apple iPhone Duo unboxing videos show crease and features

The Apple iPhone Duo will begin shipping on Friday, October 23. According to Apple, anyone ordering the smartphone today should not expect delivery until late January. This suggests strong demand for the expensive foldable flagship. Kingmi Mobile has now managed to get its hands on an iPhone Duo in both "Star White" and "Night Sky", and shows the devices in the unboxing and hands-on videos embedded below.
The packaging is minimalist, as is typical of Apple. Aside from the iPhone Duo, which ships unfolded, Apple only includes a USB-C charging cable. The first video clearly shows just how matte the surface of the foldable main display really is, especially in direct comparison with the glossy secondary display. The video also shows the rear dual camera in action. When the iPhone Duo is unfolded, the secondary display can play various animations, such as Snoopy, which is intended to make it easier to persuade toddlers to look toward the camera.
The second video shows the iPhone Duo in white and focuses primarily on the crease. It is barely visible at first glance, even though the display above the hinge is not completely flat, as a look from steeper angles reveals. The bigger problem, however, is that the display above the hinge is extremely soft, which raises the question of how noticeable the crease will be once an iPhone Duo has been used for a few months.
