Apple iPhone Duo becomes more versatile with origami cover, including for left-handed users

Moft has unveiled one of the most interesting cases for the Apple iPhone Duo, as the Dynamic Folio attaches magnetically to the back of the foldable smartphone and protects the back, hinge, secondary display and cameras. The cover extends slightly beyond the dual-camera setup to prevent it from hitting the ground directly in the event of a fall.
Thanks to its origami structure, the cover can not only be opened and folded back when the iPhone Duo is to be used while closed. The case can also be folded back only partially, allowing it to act as a stand when the iPhone Duo is unfolded – this works in both portrait and landscape orientation. Depending on how the cover is folded, it can also serve as a grip.
This works for both the left and right hand, which should make the smartphone more comfortable for left-handed users as well. Moft offers a choice of a particularly thin and light cover or a case that also protects the frame of the iPhone Duo. Both versions feature a faux leather surface and support MagSafe, and the iPhone Duo can also be charged wirelessly with the protective case on.
Pricing and availability
Both the Moft Dynamic Folio and the Dynamic Folio Case are now available to preorder. The slim origami cover is priced at $69.99 and will ship from mid-November, while Moft is charging $89.99 for the case, with shipping for this version not starting until mid-December.
