PocketBook Color Note review – The high-quality e-ink tablet with pen input has one problem
Allwinner B810 | PowerVR GE8300 | 10.30" | 390 g
The Allwinner B810 is an entry level SoC. It is used, for example, in e-ink tablets like the PocketBook Color Note in the picture).
The processor part contains four ARM Cortex-A53 cores, which clock from 0.4 to 1.5 GHz. The performance is very limited due to the weak CPU cores and relatively low clock frequency. It clearly lags behind current entry-level processors in smartphones, such as a Mediatek Helio G36 (8x ARM Cortex-A53 with up to 2.2 GHz).
The Allwinner SoC can be combined with up to 4 GB DDR3/DDR4/LPDDR2/LPDDR3/LPDDR4 RAM and eMMC 5 flash memory.
The integrated graphics unit (iGPU) is the PowerVR GE8300, which supports DirectX 10, OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.1 and OpenCL 1.2.
