AMD Radeon RX 7600
The AMD Radeon RX 7600 is a mid-range desktop GPU and is manufactured using the 6 nm process at TSMC. The graphics processor has 2,048 shader units and 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM with a 128-bit interface (18 Gbps, 288 GB/s).
Features
As a smaller model based on the RDNA3 architecture, AMD is launching its first mid-range model, the Radeon RX 7600. The AMD Radeon RX 7600 replaces the AMD Radeon RX 6600 and offers slightly improved performance. In terms of features, the Navi 33 chip can fall back on the established features of the top models. For ray tracing, the Navi 33 chip now offers 32 RT cores and therefore slightly more performance than the AMD Radeon RX 6600, which is only equipped with 28 RT cores.
Performance
The performance of the AMD Radeon RX 7600 is comparable with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 comparable. In the internal duel, the RX 7600 surpasses the performance of an AMD Radeon RX 6600 noticeably. In fact, the AMD Radeon RX 7600 duels with an AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT. This makes the AMD Radeon RX 7600 ideally suited for 1,080p gaming in 2023.
Power consumption
The power consumption of the AMD Radeon RX 7600 is specified by the manufacturer at 165 watts (TGP). This is slightly less than an AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT, but significantly more than an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060.
