Prince of Persia The Lost Crown in review: Laptop and desktop benchmarks
Test systems
We currently carry out our gaming benchmarks with these devices. Clicking on the individual photos will take you to the respective manufacturer's website. Further details on the devices' specifications are listed at the end of the article.
Tech
Ubisoft takes a reserved approach to graphics options. Apart from the picture mode and resolution, the only adjustable settings are edge smoothing (FXAA or SMAA) and graphics quality (Normal, High, Ultra). Presets are not explicitly defined, as there are no individual or detailed options available. However, VSync and an FPS limit can be optionally activated
Pro: All customizations take effect without requiring a restart. Notably, modern features like DLSS or FSR are absent. Nevertheless, given the exceptionally low system requirements, these features would not be necessary, even on less powerful systems
Benchmark
For our measurements, we sed the free demo version, which is approximately 10 GB in size. Since The Lost Crown, unlike most Ubisoft games, lacks an integrated benchmark, we employed our own sequence. Using the CapFrameX tool, we captured a run lasting just over 20 seconds immediately after launching the game (see video).
Results
FHD (1,920 x 1,080)
The Lost Crown is remarkably efficient in terms of graphics power. Even a Radeon 780M can handle the title at 1,920 x 1,080 resolution and maximum details, achieving around 100 FPS.

QHD (2,560 x 1,440)
Even at QHD resolution, a dedicated gaming GPU is not essential. Mid-range models, such as the GeForce RTX 4050 or the Radeon RX 7600S, achieve three-digit FPS at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels with the Ultra Preset.
