ATI Mobility Radeon 9700

ATI Mobility Radeon 9700

ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 is the AGP pendant of the ATI Mobility Radeon X600. In these days it was the fastest available graphic card for notebooks and started the time of gaming noteboks. Despite its name, technically it is not related to the desktop graphic card 9700 (Pro), but with the 9600. Compared with the Mobility Radeon 9600 it is only higher clocked. The performance is like with X1400.

The version with only 32 MB memory can have a 64 bit memory interface. Then it is clearly slower!
