ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3430
The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3430 is a dedicated entry level graphics adapter for laptops. According to AMD the HD 3430 is similar to the HD 3450 but features only a slower core clock and does not support GDDR3.
The performance of HD 3430 should be similar to the HD 3450 with GDDR2 and therefore only sufficient for less demanding 3D games. Older games like Half Life 2 are the only games that should run in high details fluently.
The 40 Unified Shader of the HD 3430 are compareable to 8 5-dimensional shaders from Nvidia. Therefore, the card competes with the 9200M GS with 8 unified shaders.
The power consumption of the notebook GPU lies between 7 to 12 Watt according to AMD (3400er series).
