Fast CPU and good display. With the new ExpertBook PM5 G2, Asus offers a large 16-inch laptop for business customers, featuring a fast AMD processor and a matte WQHD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. However, there are unexpected quality issues.

Gorgon Point ZBook. Mobile workstations like the HP ZBook series are typically meant for GPU-intensive applications. Not so much the HP ZBook 8 G2a. This 14-inch workstation with an AMD CPU forgoes a strong graphics chip, instead offering plenty of RAM and a fast processor - a good fit for local AI.

Great value depending on the configuration. The 16S is a massive upgrade over last year's Dell 16 Plus. At higher configuration levels, however, prices can balloon to ridiculous levels to make the XPS 16 the better buy.

Better than a ThinkPad T14? HP's EliteBook 8 G2a is a 14-inch business laptop with a current AMD processor, excellent input devices and multiple display options. Our review unit with the LowPower display options offers excellent battery life, but quality issues affect the overall impression.
