The 2025 Apple MacBook Air 13 with its M4 chip is a powerful and particularly lightweight notebook for everyday use. It impresses with its slim design, long battery life and a brilliant Retina display with high color accuracy. The new M4 chip ensures a significant increase in performance compared to the M3, enabling smooth multitasking. Creative applications should be no problem, either. The product comes with two Thunderbolt ports, Wi-Fi 6E and a fast SSD. The passively cooled system works almost silently, which makes the MacBook inconspicuous in everyday use. The biggest disadvantage is probably the 60 Hz display and the high surcharges for SKUs with more RAM and storage.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 is a premium business ultrabook, offering an excellent combination of mobility, performance, and build quality. At just 0.98 kg, it's exceptionally lightweight yet highly robust thanks to its premium case. 

The legendary ThinkPad keyboard provides outstanding typing comfort, while the bright 14-inch OLED display (400 nits, 100% sRGB) ensures a razor-sharp image, even in challenging lighting conditions.

In terms of performance, the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor paired with 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM easily handles office tasks, multitasking, and demanding applications. Battery life is also strong, delivering nearly 11 hours in our Wi-Fi test. Available directly from Lenovo for 2,819 euros.

With its 13.3-inch display (either Full HD or 4K), it offers brilliant colors and sharp images. Powered by the latest Intel Core processors, up to 32 GB of RAM and a fast SSD, it promises high performance and effortless multitasking. Its slim and robust aluminum case, backlit keyboard and a large Precision touchpad offer making performing daily duties more comfortable. Thanks to Wi-Fi 6E support, along with Thunderbolt 4 and long battery life, the system is ideal for doing work on the go while security features such as a built-in fingerprint reader and an optional IR camera ensure data protection and security.

The HP EliteBook Ultra G1i 14 is a powerful and elegant-looking business notebook for pros. With its 14-inch 2.8K OLED display, it offers brilliant colors and a sharp, detailed image. Equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra processors of the Lunar Lake family, as well as 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1 TB SSD, it delivered first-class performance for multitasking and demanding applications in our testing. Wi-Fi 7 and long battery life round out the list of the product's key features.

The Honor MagicBook Art 14 combines sleek design with robust performance and a high-quality display. Its 14-inch OLED panel with 2.8K resolution delivers vivid colors, excellent contrast, and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. With a brightness of up to 500 nits, the screen remains readable even in direct sunlight. 

The notebook is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 processor with 12 cores, providing strong performance for multitasking, office tasks, and creative applications.

Accompanied by 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1 TB SSD, it ensures fast load times and responsive performance. Despite its aluminum construction, the laptop remains lightweight and highly portable, while the 60 Wh battery provides decent battery life. Connectivity options include USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, and a headphone jack. A backlit keyboard, precise touchpad, and excellent sound system complete this impressive package. With a weight of around 1.2 kg, ThinkPad T14s G6's magnesium-aluminum casing is robust enough, yet portable. Featuring the latest generation Intel Core Ultra 5 228V processor, 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1 TB PCIe SSD, the system delivers solid performance for everyday tasks. The 14-inch IPS display in 16:10 format offers a resolution of 1,920 × 1,200 pixels, almost 100% sRGB color space coverage and brightness of up to 500 cd/m². The backlit keyboard and classic TrackPoint make doing work that bit more pleasant.

Its two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI, USB-A, smart card reader and Wi-Fi 6E are complemented by good battery life of over 20 hours and fast charging support.

The Asus Zenbook S 14 offers a great OLED display with 120 Hz in addition to the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V. We also took a closer look at the device in the test with 32 GB RAM and a 1 TB SSD. In the test, the Asus Zenbook S 14 scored with a high and stable performance. Asus packs the built-in hardware into a very high-quality casing. Good input devices and the extensive security features underpin the good position in the top 10 list. Unfortunately, there is no dedicated graphics card, but with the fast iGPU this can be overlooked.

The new Asus Zenbook S 14 is one of the best 14-inch all-rounders on the market. With Intel Lunar Lake, there is more power and more efficient cooling.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 4 is powered by a fast AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, delivering significant performance improvements to this compact business laptop. Additionally, it features the powerful AMD Radeon 780M integrated GPU. 

Lenovo maintains its excellent input devices, making the laptop ideal even for heavy typing workloads.

In testing, the 13.3-inch subnotebook impressed with strong system performance, high-quality materials, and a generous range of connectivity options. Overall, the ThinkPad X13 Gen 4 offers a compelling package with a 16:10 display and extended battery life. It is currently available exclusively from Lenovo, starting at around 1,270 euros in the basic configuration.

Its 14-inch OLED display with 3K resolution (2,880 × 1,800 pixels) delivers brilliant colors, deep contrasts, and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen is bright enough at up to 400 nits to be comfortably used even in daylight.
