After we already reviewed the new Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 with Panther Lake, we are now also testing the new larger 16-inch model ThinkPad T16 Gen 5 powered by an AMD processor. What is our first impression of the large business laptop?

When Lenovo replaced the ThinkPad P15 and ThinkPad P17 with the ThinkPad P16, the promise was: Same performance as the old 17-inch workstation, similar size to the 15-inch. But the new Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 breaks this promise. So, Lenovo: Where is the 18-inch successor to the P17?

The ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 was the last of its kind. With the newest model, the ThinkPad P16 Gen 3, Lenovo finally lets go of one of the most defining designs ever created under the ThinkPad name: The dedicated Magnesium structure frame, which was introduced with the ThinkPad T60 back in 2006.

iFixit has now put the ThinkPad T14 G7 and ThinkPad T16 G5 through their paces. With 10/10 repairability scores, the pair match recent Framework Laptop releases with their excellent modularity. All is not perfect with Lenovo's latest ThinkPad T series laptops when it comes to repairability, though.

The Magic Bay accessories have so far been exclusive to the Lenovo ThinkBook line, but it seems like Lenovo is bringing them to the ThinkPad line: The iF Design Award has revealed the so far unannounced Lenovo ThinkPad X14 Gen 1, a new addition to the line.
