Folks trying to buy the Switch 2 online (like yours truly) have a messy and extremely unruly time of it. For those reading trying to get their Switch preorders right now, you feel my pain. The website queues, the "we're experiencing issues", the whole experience has overall been painful. If you're like those who tried to buy from Best Buy, the struggle has been being unable to even order, and only recently (per Nintendo Switch 2 reddit chat and this post about it). Up until you get to check out, Target at first was working perfectly fine, and Walmart was having people sit in queues for minutes and even for some over an hour.
The situation has, as can be usual for many of these midnight console preorders, been confusing overall for many. If all websites are out of stock, you may be out of luck, but I'd recommend refreshing as some have reported that they got the button to reappear and their order to be put through. As of this time writing Walmart has preorders still on for the bundle specifically, and some active in livestreams like these are reporting they nabbed theirs just minutes after publication of this article. At current there is no Amazon preorders available.
If you feel like your out of luck with these previous 3 retailers, GameStop is holding in-store and online preorders, so you may be able to nab a Switch 2 before anyone else, but it will likely be a situation similar to the first 3 retailers. The preorder will be live at 11 P.M. EST. and will have both the bundle packaged with Mario Kart World and the console available for preorder.
