While a pretty intriguing deal for the new ThinkPad X9 OLED is still available, quite a few laptop buyers are probably looking for a larger 16-inch machine with more screen real estate and even a dedicated graphics card. This description fits the Lenovo ThinkPad P16, which is currently on sale as well.
More precisely, Lenovo has discounted the ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 with the Intel Core i7-14700HX Raptor Lake processor and Nvidia RTX 2000 Ada Generation Laptop GPU with 8GB VRAM and a TGP of 80 watts by a whopping 66 percent relative to the original sticker price. As a result, the well-equipped mobile workstation can now be ordered for $1,566 directly at Lenovo's official eBay store. For comparison, this laptop currently costs over $2,500 at Lenovo's regular online store.
This configuration also comes with 32GB DDR5-5600 RAM and a 1TB SSD. Both of these are upgradable after purchase. In addition to that, the ThinkPad P16 offers a fantastic 4K IPS display, which is HDR-compatible and can hit up to 800 nits according to the official spec sheet. More importantly, the 16-inch screen can display all DCI-P3 colors, which is particularly useful when editing 4K video or photos.
Before placing an order, please take a moment to read our comprehensive review of the Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 2. Our test unit was equipped with the same Intel CPU, but our findings regarding the display and GPU performance will not apply to the SKU that's on sale here. With that said, the P16 is a heavy but powerful business laptop with a beautiful and bright 4K screen, which can be a better choice than OLED for users who are PWM sensitive or often work with high-resolution content.
