An unexpected update: Lenovo is already replacing the ThinkPad P1 Gen 8 with the next gen model, the new ThinkPad P1 Gen 9. This new version is only a small update, focused mainly on internal changes.

Apart from the expensive ThinkPad P1, Lenovo also updates the less expensive ThinkPad P16s line. The new ThinkPad P16s Gen 5 has a unified design for both the AMD and Intel models, as well as dedicated Nvidia GPUs for the AMD variants for the first time.

Apple's new M5 Max SoC shows its full potential in the larger MacBook Pro 16 and the performance is noticeably better compared to the MacBook Pro 14. The performance is also stable, and the fans are quieter at the same time.

Samsung's new Galaxy Book6 Ultra is a very good multimedia laptop, but it is very expensive at €3,800. Lenovo's Yoga Pro 9i 16 is also a very good multimedia laptop, which is available for €2,700 with an even brighter Tandem OLED panel as well as 64 GB RAM.

While the old MacBook Air 13 M4 was already a great everyday laptop for many users, the 256 GB SSD in the base model was not ideal. The new M5 model now gets a 512 GB SSD be default, so it is the best version for the majority of people.

All new TravelMate P4 and P2 models are powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 365 processor with up to 64 GB DDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. Screen options include 1920 x 1200 and 2880 x 1800 IPS panels and the laptops come with Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and fingerprint sensor plus Intel vPro security.

The new Honor MagicBook Pro 14 2026 is a very good multimedia laptop, and it is also a direct rival for the entry-level MacBook Pro 14 with the M5 SoC. We compare the two laptops in the most important areas.

March is here and so is the new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 - almost, at least. The thin premium model that is much more modular than the X1 Carbon Gen 13 can now be ordered with various Panther Lake CPUs.

Samsung's OLED screens have not been very competitive in 2025, especially in terms of brightness. The new Galaxy Book6 Ultra finally gets an improved ILED panel, but competitors with tandem OLED screens or Mini-LED panels still have an advantage.

Apple's new MacBook Air with the small M5 SoC is extremely efficient while gaming. During our tests, we recorded a SoC consumption of just 7-8 Watts, which means the gaming performance is also rock solid despite the passive cooling solution.

Samsung took a lot of inspiration from the Apple MacBook Pro 16 for the new Galaxy Book6 Ultra and both look pretty equal when you remove the logos. The design also includes the keyboard, because Samsung ditched the numpad from the old Galaxy Book4 Ultra.

At MWC 2026, Lenovo is announcing their newest additions to the legendary ThinkPad T series. The mainstream models Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 5 get a lot of love this year, as Lenovo totally redesigned them. Both will launch with AMD and Intel options.

In addition to the standard T14 and T16, Lenovo also updates the more premium T series model, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 7. The new version comes with the latest CPUs, which includes Intel Panther Lake, AMD Gorgon Point, but also the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite. Additionally, Lenovo has revamped the design, making it more repairable, lightweight and convenient to use by adding a USB-C port on the right side.

The second generation of the T14s 2-in-1 is here, and it brings some significant changes. It gets updated to be closer to the regular Lenovo ThinkPad T14s G7, and it also includes a new built in digitizer pen - plus, naturally, Intel Panther Lake.

The hype about the new Panther Lake CPUs has been mostly about the more expensive variants. Lenovo has now started to turn their attention towards the lower priced models, expanding the price range of Panther Lake with more affordable models like the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G9 IPL and ThinkBook 16 G9 IPL.

The ThinkPad T16g Gen 3 is a large 16-inch workstation and Lenovo includes pretty much any feature you can think of. However, when it comes to the performance, the new laptop can be a bit disappointing and it is actually the slowest GeForce RTX 5080 we have tested so far.

Asus completely reworked its Zenbook Duo and the result is the best dual-screen convertible on the market. The hinge was improved, there are new OLED screens with improved brightness, a much bigger battery and a further improved keyboard. And then there is also Panther Lake.

The new Lenovo ThinkPad T1g Gen 8 is definitely a flagship model and offers perfect build quality, good maintenance options, a modern tandem OLED screen and very good input devices. We would like to see these features in more ThinkPads again.
