The hype about the new Panther Lake CPUs has been mostly about the more expensive variants. Lenovo has now started to turn their attention towards the lower priced models, expanding the price range of Panther Lake with more affordable models like the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G9 IPL and ThinkBook 16 G9 IPL.

High power limits are a well-known issue for Intel processors. The Core Ultra 9 285H in Lenovo’s compact Yoga Pro 7 14 can consume up to 115W, which creates some problems and it even slightly affects the performance.

Lenovo's multimedia laptop Yoga Pro 7 14 is available with Intel as well as AMD processors. If you get an Intel SKU, you will also get a slightly better OLED display as well as a card reader. But is it also the better overall package?
