MWC 2026

We had the pleasure of participating in an exclusive Samsung roundtable at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona, which was dedicated exclusively to the hardware of the newly unveiled Galaxy S26 Ultra. This provided interesting insights into various areas.

GSMA has moved its $40 4G smartphone plan into pilot markets across Africa, but rising memory prices and import taxes may make the affordability target harder to hit.

Besides novel features like the solar panels and the swappable 5,200 mAh battery that complements the 3,000 mAh internal one, the Oukitel RG14-P hardware side integrates an Intel Core 7 150U CPU, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 512 GB SSD with the option to upgrade storage capacity, plus a 14.1-inch 1080p touchscreen with a magnetically-attachable 8 MP webcam.

Infinix has officially launched the Note 60 Ultra smartphone, which is codeveloped by Italian automotive and design legend Pininfarina. On top of this, it comes with a 200 MP main camera, a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, and a large silicon-carbon battery with 100 W fast charging support.

Vivo is moving towards releasing the Vivo X300 Ultra globally. In the meantime, the company has shared new details about the device's innovative teleconverter camera accessories. Surprisingly, there will be a degree of cross compatibility between smartphones, including the older X200 Ultra.

Lenovo's ThinkPad T series is known to be the dependable workhorse series, but with the new T14 G7 and T16 G5, Lenovo takes a bold swing: Thanks to LPCAMM2 memory, the T14 Gen 7 and T16 Gen 5 are the only laptops thus far that combine the powerful Panther Lake X7 CPUs with Intel ARC B300 graphics and upgradeable RAM.

Vivo has confirmed initial details about its next high-end Android tablet. Rivalling the Legion Tab Gen 5, the Pad6 combines a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset but with a much larger 13,000 mAh battery. The Vivo Pad6 Pro will be receiving a European release, too.

The Nubia Neo 5 Max takes its name to the extreme. Equipped with a 7.5-inch display, the new gaming-focused smartphone also features a huge battery and an unreleased MediaTek chipset.

ZTE has updated its Nubia gaming smartphone series with the Neo 5 GT. Equipped with a faster chipset than its predecessor, the new gaming smartphone also offers a massive battery, built-in cooling and dedicated shoulder triggers.

In time for MWC, Ubiquiti Networks has unveiled the first devices of its new Wi-Fi 7 Mesh generation. The U7 Mesh devices offer the new Wi-Fi standard, but come with a slight disadvantage compared to the U6 Mesh.

Quectel's RM255C-GL and RG255C-NA are two new Sub-6 GHz 5G modules designed for mid-tier IoT, industrial, and wearable devices. Both the modules support 3GPP Rel-17 RedCap technology, with LTE Cat 4 fallback, and both have a theoretical peak downlink of 223 Mbps and uplink of 123 Mbps.

Motorola has added two more devices to its FIFA World Cup 26 Collection. The new additions are the Razr Fold and Edge 70 Fusion, and like the Razr FIFA World Cup 26 Edition, they both have gotten a makeover inspired by the football tournament.

Motorola smartphones could become significantly more attractive for users who place a high priority on privacy and data protection. The company plans to offer smartphones running the open-source GrapheneOS in the future.

Motorola has unveiled two new pair of earbuds at MWC 2026. The Moto Buds 2 and the more premium Moto Buds 2 Plus have active noise cancellation, hi-res wireless audio support, and AI features. They also have a total battery life of over 40 hours.

Motorola has now revealed full specifications for its new ultra-premium fold. Featuring Galaxy Z Fold7 surpassing hardware, the new foldable will also undercut its peers on price. The Razr Fold will be launching globally, too.

Thanks to a new camera kit, the successor to the Vivo X200 Ultra now achieves 17x optical zoom for the first time with its 200 MP sensor. An initial hands-on video offers an early look at the capabilities and features of the intriguing X300 Ultra flagship, equipped with Zeiss cameras.

The AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series, announced at MWC 2026, are officailly the world's first desktop chips designed to support Microsoft Copilot+ PC experiences. Like AMD's recent Ryzen AI mobile platforms, this one also features Zen 5 CPU cores, AMD RDNA 3.5 graphics, and an XDNA 2 NPU.

TCL has unveiled the NXTPaper 70 Pro smartphone, combining a glare-free, paper-like display with Nxtpaper 4.0 technology to help ease digital eye strain. The phone features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, a 1,080 x 2,340 display, 8 GB of RAM, 256 or 512GB of storage, and runs Android 16.

The TCL CrystalClip earbuds have debuted with Swarovski‑crystal and standard models, pairing an open‑ear clip design with dual‑magnetic drivers, 3D Spatial Audio, and up to 36 hours of use. The Swarovski edition adds a detachable crystal‑studded rose accessory that can be worn separately.

Qualcomm has launched the X105 5G Modem-RF and FastConnect 8800 Wi-Fi 8 chip, the company's latest and greatest communication chips. The X105 5G Modem-RF brings features like 5G NR-NTN for satellite-based video, voice, data, and messaging. The FastConnect 8800 debuts Wi-Fi 8, BT 7.0, and more.

The Anker Nano Charger (45W, Smart Display) for the EU market has been revealed. It arrives several weeks after the brand released a US version of the accessory. It features a single USB-C port, with real-time charging information shown on the integrated display, and support for two charging modes.

Anker has announced the European release of the Prime Wireless Charging Station (3-in-1, MagGo, AirCool, Foldable). Launched in the US in January 2026, this portable accessory is designed to charge a phone, smartwatch and earbuds simultaneously. Plus, its fan system ensures that device temperatures do not exceed 37°C (~99°F) while charging.

At MWC 2026, Anker revealed the new eufy C15 robotic lawn mower. The entry-level model joins the two existing E-Series products. While the latest addition has the same boundary wire-free navigation set-up, for easy installation, it is designed for smaller yards.

The soundcore Space 2 over-ear headphones and the soundcore Boom Go 3i, a portable Bluetooth speaker, are on show at MWC 2026. The new headphones from the Anker sub-brand are expected to launch in the coming weeks, while the speaker is already available in Europe and North America.

Qualcomm has officially launched the Snapdragon Wear Elite, the company's newest wearable platform with an integrated Hexagon NPU, up to 5x CPU and 7x GPU gains, 5G RedCap, Bluetooth 6.0, UWB, GNSS and satellite-based NB-NTN support.

The RayNeo Air 4 Pro AR glasses now come in two Batman-themed variants for fans of the comic book franchise. Tandem OLED microdisplays produce a virtual image up to 201-inches at 120 Hz, with support for HDR10 and 3D media from any USB-C source.

Lenovo has shown off the Yoga Book Pro 3D at MWC 2026. As its name implies, it is made for 3D artists, and it comes with a 50 MP RGB camera that is capable of detecting hand gestures.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 6 is among the many laptops that the brand has presented at MWC 2026. It’s powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, has a 14-inch touchscreen display, and is set to start at €799.

At MWC, Lenovo has refreshed the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, a 2.8K 120 Hz OLED display, up to 32 GB RAM, a 75 Wh battery, and Wi-Fi 7 in a 1.19 kg thin-and-light chassis.

Lenovo has showcased the IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra at MWC 2026, and it’s an Intel-powered lightweight laptop that can be equipped with up to an OLED display. It will be available soon, with a starting price of €899.

The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 comes with quite a few key upgrades over its predecessor. The Android tablet switches to a Snapdragon SoC and brings some productivity focussed AI features.

Lenovo has expanded its Yoga Pro portfolio with the Yoga Pro 7a that will be offered in two screen sizes. The laptop is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ series chips and enables high performance workflows.

Lenovo is back with another mechanical keyboard, and this time it has partnered with Angry Miao. The Yoga Creative Keyboard AngryMiao Edition is based on the Angry Miao ATM 98 keyboard, but also incorporates some features designed specifically for Yoga devices.

At MWC 2026, Lenovo is announcing their newest additions to the legendary ThinkPad T series. The mainstream models Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 5 get a lot of love this year, as Lenovo totally redesigned them. Both will launch with AMD and Intel options.

In addition to the standard T14 and T16, Lenovo also updates the more premium T series model, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 7. The new version comes with the latest CPUs, which includes Intel Panther Lake, AMD Gorgon Point, but also the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite. Additionally, Lenovo has revamped the design, making it more repairable, lightweight and convenient to use by adding a USB-C port on the right side.

Lenovo has unveiled a concept device at MWC 2026 that seems like a future iteration of its discontinued Smart Clock Essential. However, the Lenovo AI Work Companion Concept moves away from a bedside gadget to a workspace one with its productivity features and hub functionality.

Lenovo has unveiled a new 15-inch gaming laptop backed by AMD Strix Halo processors. Featuring AMD's powerful Radeon 8060S iGPU, the new laptop also includes an OLED display and full-sized arrow keys inside a body weighing about the same as a MacBook Air 15. Lenovo has confirmed availability for the new Legion 7a, too.

Lenovo has launched its latest high-end Android tablet globally. Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and up to 16 GB of RAM, the tablet also features a 9,000 mAh battery inside its 360 g housing. Lenovo includes an 8.8-inch and 165 Hz display with the Legion Tab Gen 5, too.

The ThinkPad 2-in-1 has returned. Equipped with Intel Panther Lake processors and up to 64 GB of RAM, the Surface Pro rival also features a 3:2 display with a 120 Hz variable refresh rate. The ThinkPad X13 Detachable Gen 1 weighs just 1.25 kg including its impressive keyboard folio too.

The second generation of the T14s 2-in-1 is here, and it brings some significant changes. It gets updated to be closer to the regular Lenovo ThinkPad T14s G7, and it also includes a new built in digitizer pen - plus, naturally, Intel Panther Lake.

The Honor Robot Phone integrates an AI buddy with an on-screen avatar for use as a daily driver. The AI can control the 200 MP, 3-axis gimbal camera to see and interact expressively with others while capturing videos with cinematic quality thanks to ARRI Image Science. The humanoid Honor Robot was also teased at MWC 2026.
