Vivo has confirmed initial details about its next high-end Android tablet. Rivalling the Legion Tab Gen 5, the Pad6 combines a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset but with a much larger 13,000 mAh battery. The Vivo Pad6 Pro will be receiving a European release, too.

It seems that Vivo's next high-end Android tablet is almost upon us. For context, Xiaomi introduced the Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro globally over the weekend. Then a day later, Honor followed up with the MagicPad 4.

As it turns out, Vivo has been showcasing the Pad6 Pro at the same event. It is worth stressing that the variant on show is the Chinese version. The Pad6 Pro will be receiving at least a European release later this year, though.

Additionally, we were able to confirm that the Pad6 Pro features the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset found inside the new Legion Tab Gen 5 and flagship smartphones like the OnePlus 15 (curr. $899 on Amazon). On top of that, Vivo has upgraded battery capacity from 12,050 mAh in the Pad5 Pro to 13,000 mAh in the Pad6 Pro.

Also, the tablet will be available with at least 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Full display specifications remain unknown for the time being. Vivo has only teased that the Pad6 Pro offers a 4K resolution, although Digital Chat Station indicates that the tablet contains a 13.2-inch panel. A single camera on the rear was also visible, as was a folio keyboard cover and a stylus that magnetically attaches to the tablet's top edge.
