Oppo Pad Mini: Compact Android tablet surfaces in new leak

Previously, a leak revealed key specifications of the Oppo Pad 5 Pro. It is expected to be positioned as a flagship tablet with a large 13.2-inch display and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has now shared key details of another upcoming Oppo tablet, reportedly called the Oppo Pad Mini.

As the name suggests, the Oppo Pad Mini will be a compact tablet. The tipster reveals that it will have an 8.8-inch display with a high refresh rate.

A previous leak suggested that it may use the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. However, the tipster suggests that may use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 instead. It is a 3nm octa-core Qualcomm processor, also used in sub-flagship phones like the OnePlus 15R (curr. $699 on Amazon). The upcoming tablet is said to feature a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

Currently, there are no other details regarding the Oppo Pad Mini. The company is expected to release the Find X9 Ultra in April, and the Pad Mini could debut along with it. Separately, Oppo is also expected to be working on the Find X9s, a compact flagship phone expected to feature a large 7,000mAh battery.
