The Vivo Pad6 Pro is days away from receiving an official release. According to a reliable leaker, Vivo will not be launching a cheaper alternative simultaneously. Instead, the probable Vivo Pad6 is set to arrive separately and with a different display from its Pro-branded counterpart.

Vivo is days away from launching its Pad6 Pro tablet with a 13.2-inch display alongside its X300s and X300 Ultra smartphones. At the same time, rivals like Oppo and Xiaomi are preparing to launch smaller alternatives like the Pad Mini and the Redmi K Pad 2. Meanwhile, a recent leak indicates that Apple is about to replace the iPad 11th Gen too (curr. $299 on Amazon).

According to Digital Chat Station, Vivo has no plans to stop with the Pad6 Pro. Writing on Weibo, the leaker claims that a 'smaller tablet has also been confirmed'. As far as we can tell, this is not an official confirmation. Instead, the Pad6 Pro, X300s and X300 Ultra remain the focus of Vivo's current public teasers.

Additionally, there is no guarantee that Digital Chat Station is referring to a tablet as small as the Oppo Pad Mini or the Redmi K Pad 2. If the Pad5 is anything to go by, then Vivo's 'smaller tablet' will be a circa 12-inch alternative. Digital Chat Station adds that the probable Vivo Pad6 can be expected to launch later this year. For context, Vivo launched the Pad5 roughly five weeks after the Pad5 Pro last year.
