Vivo X300s flexes its muscles before release in benchmark leak with 16 GB RAM

Vivo has just announced the release date for its upcoming X300s smartphone. As expected, the X300s will join the X300 Ultra during a simultaneous launch event. Set for March 30, this date is only anticipated to apply within the Chinese market.
For the time being, global launch details remain unknown. In the meantime, the X300s has been spotted on Geekbench by its V2548A model number. As usual, Geekbench is rather cryptic about the device's chipset. Nonetheless, the identifier and CPU cluster arrangement are a match for MediaTek's Dimensity 9500.

Paired with 16 GB of RAM, the Dimensity 9500 should help the X300s outperform other high-end smartphones like the Nothing Phone (3), Xiaomi 15T Pro and the OnePlus 15R (curr. $699 on Amazon). To that end, the Vivo X300s achieves a single-core score of 3,310, which is roughly on par with what our Vivo X300 review unit scored in the same benchmark.
Similarly, the X300s sits between the X300 and Find X9 Pro in our multi-core results thanks to its 10,141 score. Elsewhere, Vivo has confirmed that the X300s will also feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a huge 7,100 mAh battery. The device contains a USB 3.2 Gen 1-capable Type-C port too, unlike last year's Vivo X200s.
