New IKEA LED lamp with Matter now available in the US

The IKEA Varmblixt LED table/wall lamp, dimmable smart/white glass color and white spectrum, 12", is now available in the US. Announced in early 2026, this smart light has since been released in various European countries ahead of its scheduled April release date.

Like the original IKEA Varmblixt lamp, the new smart donut-shaped light can be placed on a table or mounted to a wall. This dimmable light can produce white and colored lighting effects, with a light source expected to run for around 25,000 hours.

It is compatible with the IKEA Dirigera hub and the IKEA Home smart app. Through the app, users can adjust the lamp's settings and control multiple smart home devices simultaneously. Plus, support for Matter-over-Thread should allow the smart light to integrate with a range of smart home ecosystems like Google, Apple and Amazon. Plus, it comes with a smart, pre-paired remote control, which can be used to dim the lamp or adjust the colors from a distance.

You can now buy the IKEA Varmblixt LED table/wall lamp, dimmable smart/white glass color and white spectrum at the brand's online store in the US for $99.99. It is also available at many of the brand's physical stores, according to the store stock checked tool on the IKEA.com product listing.
