IKEA rolling out new smart donut-shaped LED lamp

The IKEA Varmblixt LED table/wall lamp, dimmable smart/white glass colour and white spectrum, 30 cm, is now available in some European countries. This new smart version of the popular donut-shaped light was officially announced at the start of 2026.

Now, the smart IKEA Varmblixt LED table/wall lamp is listed at the brand’s online store in Sweden, with an SEK 699 RRP. It also appears to be available at some physical IKEA stores in countries like Spain and France, according to the IKEA app's Shop&Go fetaure, where it retails for €59.99 and €49.99, respectively. It has also been reported as available in some Danish stores, where it is priced at DKK 399.

IKEA’s new smart Varmblixt LED table/wall lamp offers white and colored lighting effects. The dimmable light can be connected to the brand’s Dirigera Hub, with users able to remotely control the device via the IKEA Home Smart app. Here, you can schedule the lighting to change throughout the day and switch on or off automatically. Plus, it comes with a remote control for brightness and color adjustments.

It remains to be seen when the new IKEA Varmblixt LED table/wall lamp, dimmable smart/white glass colour and white spectrum, 30 cm will be available more widely in Europe, and in other regions like North America. As a reminder, when IKEA announced this product, it said it would be released in April 2026.
