New leak reveals pricing and pre-order date for upcoming Sonos Play and Era 100 SL speakers

Recently, a Reddit user spotted something interesting on the Best Buy Canada website: a listing for a new Sonos Play wireless speaker. The page was quickly taken down, but not before screenshots were captured and shared online. And now, well-known leaker Billbil-kun has stepped in with more details, including pricing and pre-order dates for not just one, but two upcoming speakers.
According to Billbil-kun, Sonos is preparing to launch two new models: the Sonos Play and the Sonos Era 100 SL. Both speakers are expected to be available in black and white color options. The Sonos Era 100 SL appears to be based on the existing Sonos Era 100, but without built-in microphones, which means no voice assistant support.
As far as the pricing is concerned, in the U.S., the Sonos Play is expected to cost $299, while the Era 100 SL will reportedly be priced at $189. In Europe, the Play could range between €299 and €349 depending on the country, while the Era 100 SL is expected to launch at €199. In the UK, pricing is expected to be £299 for the Play and £169 for the Era 100 SL.
As for timing, both the Sonos Play and Era 100 SL will reportedly release on March 31, 2026. Pre-orders are expected to open on March 10, so an official announcement should happen soon.
