Govee releases new premium outdoor string lights with Matter in more countries

The Govee Outdoor Chromatic String Lights are now available in Europe. Spotted on the brand’s official website earlier in 2026, these smart lights have also recently been released in North America.

You can now buy the Govee Outdoor Chromatic String Lights at the brand’s official EU store for the discounted price of €159.99; they are listed with a €199.99 RRP. This same offer is also available via an in-page voucher at the brand’s Amazon storefront in countries like Germany. It is worth noting that this deal is scheduled to end on March 29th.

Govee’s Outdoor Chromatic String Lights offer a range of white and colored lighting effects through its RGBICW “ultra-high-density LEDs”. According to the product listing, the 10 m/33 ft long string of 10 smart bulbs offers up to 2,400 lumens brightness, 240 lumens from a single bulb, each with 54 LEDs. These lights are expected to last for around 30,000 hours.

In the Govee Home app, users can choose from more than 100 preset scenes, a dozen of which can sync with music. As an alternative to the brand’s smartphone app, users can remotely control the Outdoor Chromatic String Lights using Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice commands. Plus, it is compatible with the Matter smart home standard, allowing it to integrate with various ecosystems. The Govee Outdoor Chromatic String Lights have an IP67 weather-resistant lamp body and control box, and an IP65 dust and water resistant power adapter. It is unclear whether or when the Govee Outdoor Chromatic String Lights will be released in the UK.
