Xiaomi releases new soundbar with wireless subwoofer before full global launch

Almost two months have passed since Xiaomi listed the Desktop Speaker Pro Set on its global website. While the listing indicated that Xiaomi planned to launch the device worldwide, it did not reveal when that would be the case. The same is true for the multiple support pages that Xiaomi published as well.
Xiaomi equips its soundbar element with four drivers that it tilts 53° upwards to maximise its soundstage. Meanwhile, the subwoofer contains a 96 mm driver and connects via 2.4 GHz to minimise latency. Also, the Desktop Speaker Pro Set supports 3.5 mm, USB Type-C and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with a dedicated 3.5 mm microphone jack too.
However, the Desktop Speaker Pro Set has now received its first release. Starting off in Singapore, the Desktop Speaker Pro Set retails for SGD 139 (~$109) with its wireless subwoofer included. In other words, the new release costs SGD 70 (~$55) more than the standard Desktop Speaker and twice as much as the Sound Outdoor (curr. $52.99 on Amazon) but SGD 90 (~$70) less than the Soundbar Pro 2.1 ch.
As a result, it seems likely that the Desktop Speaker Pro Set will reach other markets for under £100 or €115 in the Eurozone (~$135). Please see our launch article for more details. The same is true for Xiaomi's Singaporean website.
