TCL launches new upgraded T7 Pro SQD-Mini LED TV

The TCL T7M Pro SQD-Mini LED TVs have been launched in China. This new model will be offered in four sizes: 65”, 75”, 85” and 98”. It builds on the T7L Pro QD-Mini LED TV, which was released in this market in 2025 alongside the entry-level T7L.
TCL’s T7M Pro has a native 4K resolution with a native 150Hz refresh rate, though this can be artificially boosted to 300Hz. It is said to have a new Super Butterfly Wing Star Display offering premium color accuracy. This model covers 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut, whereas its predecessor only covered 79% of the space.
The T7M Pro also has a greater number of local dimming zones, with the 98” model featuring 1,152 zones, an improvement on the 1,056 zones of the T7L. However, the peak brightness level is still listed as 2,200 nits (XDR). The model runs on TCL’s Spirit Control System 3.0, through which users can access various streaming platforms. Other features include integrated 2.1.2-channel Onkyo speakers and a range of ports, including four HDMI 2.1 inputs.
In China, the TCL T7M Pro SQD-Mini LED TVs start from CNY 6,199 (~$900). It is unclear when a version of this model could be released in other markets like the US, where the brand already sells the X11L SQD-Mini LED TV (85” curr. $7,998 at Amazon).
