Sony has confirmed US pricing for its latest Bravia TVs. Starting with a 50-inch model, the Bravia 3 II series stretches all the way up to a 100-inch model. All variants feature direct-lit 4K and 120 Hz panels with four HDMI 2.1 ports and come with Google TV pre-installed.

Sony has expanded its entry-level Bravia Smart TV offering with the Bravia 3 II series. Arriving less than a year after the Bravia 2 II range (curr. $399.99 on Amazon), the Bravia 3 II comes in six sizes between 43- and 100-inches. All feature direct-lit LED LCD panels that output at 4K with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Additionally, Sony includes four HDMI 2.1 ports across the range, which all support variable refresh rate (VRR) and high-dynamic range (HDR). While Sony has not confirmed as much yet, Vincent Teoh of HDTVTest believes that the Bravia 3 II range leverages the Pentonic 800, a chipset that MediaTek unveiled almost two years ago.

Sony's Bravia 3 II TVs also support its XR Triluminos Pro colour technology, as well as DTS:X, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. The six Smart TVs run Google TV with Gemini out of the box, too. The Brava 3 II series starts at $599.99 as a 43-inch Smart TV and rises by $100 through 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch sizes.

However, Sony's 85-inch model costs 60% more than its 75-inch counterpart. Similarly, the company's 100-inch option is 93% more expensive than its 85-inch Smart TV. While Sony will open pre-orders in the US on April 6, it will start shipping units a month later. Full Bravia 3 II pricing is as follows:

  • 50-inch - $699.99
  • 55-inch - $799.99
  • 65-inch - $899.99
  • 75-inch - $999.99
  • 85-inch - $1,599.99
  • 100-inch - $3,099.99
