Hisense’s new 2026 CanvasTV launches as Samsung The Frame competitor

Hisense has unveiled the S7 CanvasTV 4K QLED Google TV in the US. This 2026 model, also known as the S7SG, builds on the original S7N, which was launched in 2024. It is available in a smaller 50” size, as well as the same four sizes as before: 50”, 55”, 65”, 75” and 85”.
Aside from the new, smaller size, the 2026 Hisense CanvasTV appears to be very similar to its predecessor. This 4K LCD TV has a native with 144Hz refresh rate, and support for Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+. The model has a Hi-Matte Display and a range of frame options, which help it to look like a piece of art when not in use. This Samsung The Frame competitor comes with over 1,000 artworks to choose from, and its ultra-slim design enables it to mount close to the wall.
Hisense’s S7 CanvasTV uses Google TV, through which users can access many popular streaming apps. There are gaming features like VRR, ALLM amd AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility. Plus, it has an integrated 2.0.2 sound system and a range of ports including four HDMI (two HDMI 2.1), USB 3.0 and USB 2.0. It is also worth noting that you can control this model with Amazon Alexa voice commands.
It is unclear when the 2026 Hisense S7 CanvasTV 4K QLED Google TV will become available in the US, and how much it will cost. As a guide to pricing, the original 65” S7 CanvasTV launched at $1,299.99 (curr. $999.99 at Amazon Marketplace).
