TCL reveals another new 4K SQD-Mini LED TV with up to 300Hz

TCL has launched the new T7M Ultra SQD-Mini LED TV in China. This new model features several upgrades compared to the 2025 TCL T7L Ultra, and also has a couple of benefits over the recently unveiled T7M Pro TV.
The TCL T7M Ultra SQD-Mini LED TV has the same native 4K resolution and 150 Hz refresh rate as the cheaper T7M Pro. As with the other model, it offers a 300Hz refresh rate mode and MEMC motion smoothing. Plus, it covers 100% of the BT.2020 color space, matching the T7M Pro. However, the T7M Ultra has a higher number of local dimming zones, up to 2,176, and a higher maximum XDR brightness level of 3000 nits.
Other features of the TCL T7M Ultra TV include the brand’s Spirit Control System 3.0 and a built-in Onkyo 2.1.2 sound system. There is support for Wi-Fi 6, and users can connect devices through a range of ports, which include four HDMI 2.1 inputs.
TCL will sell the T7M Ultra SQD-Mini LED TVs in China, with customers offered a choice of four sizes from 65” to 98”. The 65” T7M Ultra TV is priced at CNY 6,799 (~$987), while the 98” variant retailing for CNY 15,999 (~$2,323). TCL is already selling one SQD-Mini LED TV, the X11L in the US (85” curr. $7,998 at Amazon). However, details of any release of a US version of the T7M have yet to be announced.
