Govee releases new vintage-style smart bulbs with Matter

The Govee Edison Bulb has been released in North America and Europe. In the US, it is known as the Govee E26 Smart Edison Light Bulb 500lm, and it is called the Govee E27 Smart Edison Light Bulb 500lm in Europe.
Govee’s new Edison light bulbs have a vintage design, with a clear glass outer and retro spiral strips. Each chip on board (COB) strip features over 25 LEDs per inch, with the dimmable bulbs delivering up to 500 lumens brightness. They can create white and colored lighting effects in your living space, with a color rendering index (CRI) over 90, and the color temperature can be adjusted between 2,700 and 6,500K.
In the Govee Home app, users of the Edison Bulb can choose from over 64 preset scene modes, including music-synced options. The app also allows you to control multiple smart lights simultaneously, and set up a schedule or a timer. Alternative remote control options include voice commands or third-party apps, thanks to Matter compatibility.
In the US, you can buy the Govee Edison Bulb 4-Pack at Amazon for $69.99. A smaller 2-Pack is also listed at the brand’s official store, though it is out of stock until March 22nd. Similarly, in EU countries like Germany, you can buy a 1-Pack or 2-Pack of the Govee Edison Bulb at Amazon for €24.99 and €44.99, respectively. Here, the product will be sold at the Govee online store from April 2nd.
