New Dreame smart display with Wi-Fi and Zigbee arrives

The Dreame Smart Control Screen S6 has been released in China. This smart home device is designed to allow you to remotely control a wide range of appliances, including lighting and air conditioners.

Dreame’s Smart Control Screen S6 has a 6-inch wide IPS screen with an anti-fingerprint finish. Users are presented with the brand’s MetaHome OS interface, with the homepage showing information like the time and the weather, alongside tiles linked to connected smart home devices. Next to the screen is a stepless knob, which could be used to adjust light brightness, curtain position or air conditioner temperature.

Another feature of the Smart Control Screen S6 is a voice assistant, which can receive commands via four integrated microphones. This model supports Zigbee 3.0, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth and RJ45 connectivity. Plus, it is compatible with a standard 86 mm wall mounted junction box, measuring 205.6 x 85.6 mm (~8.09 x 3.37 inches).

In China, you can now buy the Dreame Smart Control Screen S6 at retailers like JD.com for CNY 2,799 (~$402). Whether or when this device could reach other markets like the US, where the brand sells other products like the H12 Pro Vacuum Mop (curr. $199.99 at Amazon).
