Xiaomi launches new multi-functional smart home product
The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater G20 has been launched in China. This multi-functional smart home device has arrived alongside the Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater G10, with a couple of upgrades.
The Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater G20 has a more powerful 2,800W graphene heating element, which can rapidly heat a room in under a minute. It also has a dual DC inverter motor for simultaneous ventilation and heating. An integrated plasma generator is said to offer a 99.9% sterilization rate. The maximum ventilation rate is 240m³/h, eliminating odors in around two minutes.
Another feature of this Xiaomi Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater is an integrated LED light, said to deliver natural lighting. This smart home device comes with a Bluetooth remote control featuring a 3-inch LCD, which can be mounted on a nearby wall. Xiaomi’s G20 supports HyperOS Connect and can be remotely managed via the brand’s app or with voice commands.
In China, the Xiaomi Mijia Smart Bathroom Heater G20 retails for CNY 999 (~$145). There are currently no plans for this product to be released in other markets like Europe, where Xiaomi already sells the Mi Smart Space Heater S (curr. €119.99 at Xiaomi Store DE).
