Latest Oppo Find X9 Ultra specs leak leaves nothing to the imagination

Oppo just pushed the boundaries of book-style foldables with its “creaseless” Find N6, but that’s not the only flagship it has been working on. The Find X9 series is going to get two more variants, and the premium offering called the Find X9 Ultra just had its key specifications leaked. The phone is expected next month (April) and like the Find N6, will be available globally.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra leaked specifications

The information comes from a Bulgarian website called Nixanbal and as per the machine translation, the Find X9 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. That was expected of the Ultra model, which will be stepping away from the Dimensity 9500 powered Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. The Ultra is said to feature a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED ProXDR display with 3,120 x 1,440 resolution, 144 Hz maximum refresh rate, and 3,600 nits peak brightness, protected by NanoCrystal Glass.

Previous reports have shed light on the camera setup and the latest leak reiterates some of the specifications. It will pack a 200 MP primary camera, a 200 MP periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, a 50 MP periscope camera with 10x optical zoom, and a 50 MP ultra-wide shooter. There is also a color sensor inside the massive circular camera island. Of course, The Find X9 Ultra’s cameras have been developed in partnership with Hasselblad and will come with an upgraded Hasselblad Master Mode. At the front, there is said to be a 50 MP selfie shooter.

The report also states that there will be 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage but it is unclear if this will be the only configuration. All this will be backed by a 7,050 mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. As for how big and heavy the phone will be, it is expected to be quite chunky by today's standards with a thickness between 8.65 mm and 9.1 mm, depending on the version, with a weight of either 235 grams or 236 grams. It is also rated for IP66/IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.

As mentioned earlier, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to arrive in April and be available in markets outside of China as well.
