Oppo officially reveals key specs of the Find X9 Ultra ahead of April 21 launch

Oppo has officially confirmed key specs of the Find X9 Ultra ahead of its official launch on April 21.

According to the Weibo post, the Find X9 Ultra will have a 2K display panel made of X3 luminescent material that can be used in low light with a minimum brightness of 1 nit. It has a refresh rate of 144Hz, "pixel-level gamma correction", and the ability to change the "comfort level" of the display.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and Oppo's Tide Engine will apparently work together to keep frame rates at 144Hz in a number of popular mobile game genres, such as MOBA, tactical FPS, and survival FPS.

The battery has a capacity of 7,050mAh and is backed up by a proprietary energy-concentrating chip and a self-developed spherical silicon-carbon anode material. As for charging speeds, the Find X9 Ultra will support 100W when using a wired connection and 50W for wireless charging.

The Find X9 Ultra will have a special chip for mountain and sea communication that lets you make calls and send texts over two satellites in places where regular networks don't work.

The phone also comes with two symmetrical speakers, a bionic vibration motor, and crystal shield glass. It has IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, which mean it can withstand dust, being submerged, and high-pressure water jets.

Oppo also says that the device has passed the Swiss SGS five-star drop and shock resistance test. The Find X9 Ultra and the Find X9s Pro are both set to come out on April 21. We don't know yet if tha brand will confirm prices and availability in different regions at the same event.
