Oppo Find X9 Ultra: Global models already available to purchase with up to 16 GB RAM

Oppo is not due to launch the Find X9 Ultra globally until April 21 as a rival to the new Vivo X300 Ultra, plus the existing Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra (curr. $1,079 on Amazon). Nonetheless, the company opened reservations earlier this week for its new flagship in Europe.
At the same time, it has confirmed global pricing for not just the Pad 5 tablet but also the Watch X3 smartwatch, which are already available in China. As it turns out, multiple importers have beaten Oppo to selling the Find X9 Ultra running global software.
Typically, these handsets are those sold in Hong Kong and lack the software restrictions associated with importing a smartphone running Chinese software. It is worth noting that the likes of Average Dad and Trinity Electronic sell Chinese versions for significantly less than their global counterparts.
To that end, the Find X9 Ultra starts at $1,310 with Chinese software on Average Dad but $1,724 with global software. Similarly, Trinity Electronic charges over $150 more for global Find X9 Ultra SKUs. Also, both importers are selling the Find X9 Ultra with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage with global software pre-installed.
By contrast, Oppo has confirmed that it will only offer 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB options internationally. For reference, these 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB storage SKUs currently run to $1,959 on Average Dad and ~$1,825 on Trinity Electronic. Both importers note that global versions will start shipping the week commencing May 4. In comparison, Chinese SKUs should begin shipping on April 23.
