Oppo Find X9 Ultra: Official 200MP, 10x zoom camera samples shared days before launch

As Oppo Find X9 Ultra's April 21 global debut approaches, the Chinese phone-maker has intensified the teaser campaign for its next Ultra flagship, showcasing a camera system that aims to redefine mobile photography - especially when it comes to zoom.
Photo samples shared on X highlight the sheer power and versatility of the dual-periscope camera setup, particularly during live events like the Champions League quarter-finals, where camera reach matters. Pictures captured with the 200MP 3x periscope, paired with Oppo’s new 300mm teleconverter, show stunning image quality - despite the compression that naturally comes from sharing photos on social media.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra: Stunning 200MP 3x and 50MP 10x zoom samples show phone camera hardware still matters more than AI tricks
Oppo also collaborated with YouTuber UnboxTherapy to showcase the Find X9 Ultra’s 10x optical zoom at the Great Wall of China, alongside additional mountain photoshoot samples. While the latter are currently available as video screenshots (meaning you shouldn’t judge them too harshly), they prove that the 230 mm equivalent focal length provides a level of compression and reach previously reserved “real” compact cameras like the new Panasonic Lumix ZS300.
All in all, with this level of camera hardware, Oppo is sending a clear message - in the battle for zoom supremacy, physical sensor size and optical reach still matter more than AI upscaling alone.
Once again, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is making its global (yes, global) debut on Tuesday, April 21.
