OnePlus gives detailed look at new flagship phone with 165Hz display

OnePlus is set to launch a new flagship phone in China, the Ace 6 Ultra. It was recently announced, and now, the company has shared more official photos of it. They show the gaming smartphone in different angles and give a close look at the unique rear design.
As previously confirmed, the design of the Ace 6 Ultra won't be much different than the non-Ultra phone. The camera island is similar, and as one of the close-up pictures shows, the upcoming flagship phone will have a dual-camera setup.
However, the key difference will be in terms of the overall look from the rear. The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will be available in a color option called "Ace Awakening," which will feature a "3D-etched awakening texture." It's basically the Ace logo in a reflective texture, which shines as the light hits it from different angles.
The company adds that the phone sports a heat-insulating metal frame, designed to keep heat away from the user's hand. This could eventually contribute to comfortable gaming sessions.
Another design highlight of the Ace 6 Ultra is the aggressive R-angles, which promise a comfortable grip. As for the front, it seems OnePlus has dialed back a little in terms of the bezels. They are not as slim as the ones found in the recently launched Ace 6T, which launched globally as the OnePlus 15R.
Even so, the bezels of the Ace 6 Ultra still look thinner than those of the Pixel 10 series (128GB Pixel 10 curr. $549 on Amazon). Previously, OnePlus confirmed that the phone will be powered by the Dimensity 9500 and will come with many gaming-focused features. The company has, however, yet to share when the device will launch in China and whether it will be offered in the global market. But given that the brand has started to share regular teasers, these details will arrive soon.
