That’s why Arc Raiders players are now hunting streamers

According to Insider Gaming, Speranza Bounties is not an official Embark Studios feature, but a fan-made project. The basic idea is simple: users join the site, vote on targets and earn points for eliminating those players. The system, however, does not appear to be used only against aggressive PvP players. Insider Gaming reports that many prominent streamers and content creators also appear on the list, including TheBurntPeanut, Nadeshot and summit1g.
Overall, the site appears far more elaborate than a simple community joke, featuring a leaderboard for confirmed kills, weekly bounties worth more points and even a merchandise store. The technical side, however, is especially concerning. According to the site, there is a “Speranza Bounties Overlay” designed to help players check names directly during a match. The FAQ also explicitly references the use of this overlay. In other words, Speranza Bounties is not just a community gimmick, but a tool seemingly designed to support the targeting of marked accounts inside the game itself.
Reddit reaction is largely negative
Reaction on Reddit has been largely negative. In a thread on the Arc Raiders subreddit, users describe the site as embarrassing, open to abuse and an invitation to public shaming. Some comments even warn of “witch hunts,” manipulable entries and potential security risks. The overall tone is therefore far more critical than the lighthearted, playful image the project itself appears to be trying to project.
In the end, the case shows how quickly community tools can evolve from a semi-ironic idea into a questionable parallel structure. Speranza Bounties may not be an official Embark feature, but it combines public visibility, leaderboards and in-game support into a platform that enables the open targeting of specific players.
