Xiaomi launches new mobile water cooler with active fan and pump

Xiaomi has launched an interesting mobile water cooler in China under the Black Shark brand. While it's designed for smartphones, tablets, and gaming handhelds, it has a design similar to the coolers made for desktop PCs. For instance, there's a water pump inside, which is said to be a "high-performance" 1200+ RPM unit.
It's paired with a radiator that measures 1,65,900 mm² and a 7-blade "high-speed" fan. Xiaomi touts that such a setup can make the operating temperature drop by 56° C, allowing connected devices to stay at -31° C during heavy loads.
Speaking of which, this cooler, called Black Shark 6 Ultra, connects to phones, tablets, and gaming handhelds through a magnetic attachment. This attachment has a TEC cooling chip inside to ensure stable cooling performance.
Another notable aspect of this attachment is that it keeps the connected device away from the fan, radiator, and pump. Unlike other mobile coolers, it won't blow air towards the user's hands.
The attachment is also said to be lightweight, coming in at 69 grams, and Xiaomi notes that it's 12.8 mm thick. Other notable features of the Black Shark 6 Ultra include RGB lights on the main unit, an LED display to show the temperature of the connected surface, and a sleek overall design.
In China, this 48 W mobile water cooler has a launch price of CNY 459, around $66 (30 W Xiaomi cooler curr. $54.40 on TradingShenzhen). It's unclear whether Xiaomi will bring this to the global market, but it's worth noting that Black Shark accessories have a good presence in select regions.
