OnePlus 15T bets on G2 esports chip for stable gaming performance

OnePlus' new compact flagship phone is around the corner, and just a few days ahead of its imminent launch, the brand has shared new teasers, touting strong connectivity. As the company highlights, the OnePlus 15T sports a 360° surround high-performance antenna setup.
It's touted to be paired with an "exclusive anti-blockage design" for seamless signal reception. The dedicated G2 esports network chip inside is said to enhance the connectivity performance further, allowing users to smoothly play online games even in weak signal areas.
The company adds that the signal enhancement features aren't just for gaming. They also promise to make downloads faster and browsing seamless. It's worth noting that all these are coming from the brand itself, and there are no real-life benchmarks of the G2 esports chip and other enhancements yet.
Another thing that's worth noting is that competing brands offer similar network enhancements on their flagship phones and tablets. Honor, for example, integrates a dedicated RF (radio frequency) enhancement chipset. Lenovo has also integrated something similar on its latest Legion Tab Gen 5 gaming tablet. However, it's good to see the compact OnePlus 15T coming with these features.
For those who missed it, OnePlus has recently shared the camera specs of the phone, and the setup seems decent for a small phone as well. The launch is set for March 24, 2026, in China, and the brand could reveal more details in the coming couple of days.
