Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro head for global release as certification emerges

The Xiaomi 15T was released globally in September 2025. The lineup included two devices: the standard 15T and the 15T Pro. One of the key highlights of the sub-flagship series was its Leica camera system.
Now, the next-generation Xiaomi 17T series has received IMDA certification in Singapore. The two certified devices carry model numbers "2602DPT53G" and "2602EPTC0G." According to a previous leak, these model numbers belong to the global versions of the Xiaomi 17T and the Xiaomi 17T Pro, respectively.
The certification does not reveal any specifications, but it indicates that the devices are heading toward a global release. The Xiaomi 17T series is tipped to focus mainly on performance and battery upgrades.
The standard Xiaomi 17T is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 8500 chipset. Meanwhile, the 17T Pro may use the Dimensity 9500 chipset, a notable upgrade from the Dimensity 9400+ used in the Xiaomi 15T Pro (curr. $819.50 on Amazon). According to a previous report, the standard Xiaomi 17T could feature a 6,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
The next-generation Xiaomi 17T series is expected to debut earlier than its predecessor's September launch window. However, there is no official confirmation from Xiaomi.
