Casio GMW-BZ5000RC-1DR: First look at fresh HD renders of upcoming full metal MIP LCD watch

Fresh high-resolution renders of the upcoming Casio GMW-BZ5000RC-1DR have now surfaced - thanks to these, we get our clearest look at the design first hinted at in earlier leaks. The new images follow the previously seen catalog-style listing and confirm several details that were only partially visible before.
The super-clear updated renders show how Casio is handling the rainbow ion-plated finish in more detail. Instead of a fully colored case, the accents are applied selectively across structural edges of the case, particularly along the lower and side segments. Blue and purple tones are more prominent in the bottom half. That transitions into warmer gold and orange hues near the top lugs and bezel joints.
The inner dial frame also has a multicolor gradient. It goes around the screen, which has the same layout seen in other recent square models. The display itself looks sharper than traditional segment LCDs, which is a given considering it's a MIP display with finer text rendering and denser information.
The case has a layered structure, with separate components joined together rather than a single monoblock shell. The rainbow treatment seems to be applied to select structural parts rather than the entire outer surface.
From a specs standpoint, nothing substantially new is introduced. The watch is still expected to include Tough Solar charging, Multi Band 6 radio syncing, and Bluetooth connectivity. The stainless steel case and bracelet are now fully visible across multiple angles, that's all. For reference, earlier leaks had already pointed to a possible April release window, along with expected pricing in the €750-€800 range and limited availability.
